Assassination of Robert Jacobs in Saudi Arabia

RIJAD, SAUDI ARABIA – JUNE 8, 2004 Robert Jacobs was a United States citizen who worked in Saudi Arabia for the Vinnell Corporation, a military training and consulting firm. In 2004, there were several attacks on Western citizens by the terrorist organisation Al-Qaida in Saudi Arabia. One of the victims was Robert Jacobs, when Islamist gunmen attacked and assassinated him in the al-Khaleej district. They videotaped the murder so that they could spread terror and fear among the citizens of Western countries.
