Murder of 19-year-old Amanda Bach

VALPARAISO, INDIANA, USA – 2011 19-year-old girl, American, Amanda Bach was murdered by her boyfriend Dustin McCowan. After their very short relationship, he became extremely jealous. He shot Amanda in the neck and dumped her body just 300 yards from his house. Police found no traces of DNA, but the text messages and the contents of the cell phone were enough to convict McCowan. McCowan was sentenced two years later to 60 years for murder. Although Amanda was found in a very sexual position, she was not allegedly raped.
