CHINA Video from the car’s dashboard camera shows an attempted violent robbery of a woman riding as a passenger on a motorcycle. He presumably tried to rip her purse from her, but failed and is overpowered and detained soon after by the man driving the motorcycle.
Such a video from China is very rare as violent crime is at a minimal level there. This is mainly due to the high penalties and obedience of the citizens. The ubiquitous cameras linked to the automatic facial recognition system also play a role. All thieves are usually caught very soon. But the Chinese government’s maximum intrusion into privacy is a tribute to this.
