DALLAS, TEXAS, USA – JANUARY 10, 1978 During a Sex Pistols concert, an incident occurred that later became one of the most famous moments in punk history. Bassist Sid Vicious was called to the edge of the stage by a fan during the performance, where the man unexpectedly punched him in the nose.
The musician began bleeding heavily, yet he did not stop the concert. Smiling, he finished the song that was being played and continued performing while blood ran down his face and clothing. Photographs taken during the concert later became iconic and still serve as a reminder of the wild atmosphere of the late 1970s punk era.
