INDIA, 2025 Body of a young woman was found in the Bhakra canal in northern India. She was completely naked and had a piece of rope tied to her wrist. A later autopsy confirmed that she had been raped.
Photos were released by the local police, who appealed to the public for help in identifying her. One theory in the investigation is that she was tied by the wrist with the rope to a heavy object to keep her submerged at the bottom.
