Brazilian man dies after drinking 17 oz of hard liquor

BRAZIL 46-year-old man was egged on to drink 17 oz (500 ml) of Cachaça almost in one go. This is a Brazilian variation of white rum with an alcohol content of approximately 40-50%. Shortly after, he developed symptoms of fatal alcohol intoxication, fell into a coma, and his breathing stopped.
