MARABÁ, BRAZIL – JULY, 2011 Charlene de Sousa Xavier ended her relationship with her boyfriend Edmilson. He stalked her for some time and even sent her threatening messages, but she took it lightly.
One day, however, Edmilson and his accomplice rode up on a motorbike outside her house. He barged in and shot his ex-girlfriend several times in the face. He then immediately fled the scene. Military police tracked him down a few hours later and he was killed in the shootout.
