CAMBODIA – AUGUST 25, 2025 On a busy road near Cambodia’s capital, a fatal collision occurred between a motorcyclist and a truck. The truck driver apparently failed to see the man on the motorcycle, struck him, and ran directly over his head, causing his brain matter to spill onto the road and killing him instantly.
The truck driver fled the scene, either in shock, to avoid the consequences, or perhaps without even realizing the accident had happened. Police are actively searching for him.
Although witnesses say the motorcyclist was not at fault, the incident serves as a stark lesson for all riders. Motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable road users. It is not enough to simply follow traffic rules and basic safety; it is essential to anticipate, think ahead, and understand that you can be easily overlooked.
