ITAPOROROCA, PARAÍBA, BRAZIL – MARCH 12, 2025 Fatal accident occurred in the Mamanguape Paraibano valley, resulting in the death of a 67-year-old cyclist. José Egídio Nascimento was riding his bike next to a bus on the PB-057 road. However, he hit a curb, lost his balance and fell directly under the rear wheels of the bus. The weight of the vehicle literally squeezed the insides out of him and he died instantly.
City officials said the accident was just an unfortunate incident. Neither of them had violated any traffic laws.
