UKRAINE Bodycam footage from a Chechen volunteer fighting on the side of Ukraine shows the harsh reality of war. He ends the life of a wounded Russian soldier with several shots.
The soldier wearing the bodycam belongs to the so-called Ichkeria volunteers. The name refers to the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, which was a separatist state declared after the collapse of the Soviet Union. They fought two bloody wars for independence against Moscow in the past. After the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, some Chechen opponents of Moscow decided to lend their combat experience to Ukraine and joined the war as volunteers.
