UKRAINE Russian soldier suffered an injury to his leg during fighting in Ukraine. Before he received medical treatment, his wound became infected and necrosis spread through his entire leg. He received initial treatment at a military field hospital, where doctors apparently had to perform an amputation based on X-ray images. No update on the soldier’s current medical condition is known.
