JIANGMEN, GUANGDONG, CHINA – AUGUST 27, 2026 Teenager decided to end his life and jumped to his death from the roof of a tall building. The impact caused injuries incompatible with life, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The motive behind his desperate act is currently unknown. The incident occurred in front of several dozen shocked passersby.
If you ever find yourself in a similar situation as a witness, immediately call the emergency services and do not rely on someone else having already done so. Stay at the scene and try to warn other passersby not to enter the potential impact area. If you are at a sufficient distance to communicate with the person attempting suicide, never downplay his situation or approach him too closely. Speak calmly, in a friendly and empathetic manner.
