SAN CRISTOBAL, VENEZUELA – APRIL 19, 2017 Paola Ramírez (born July 26, 1993) was an undergraduate student at the Catholic University of Tachira. She participated in a demonstration against the Venezuelan government. During it, she was surrounded by a group of men on motorcycles who patrolled the demonstration. At first they tried to get rid of her things, but she ran away. They then fired a rubber bullet at her, which pierced her lung.
