MESOLANDIA, MALAMBO, COLOMBIA – FEBRUARY 11, 2024 Laura Vanessa Benítez Miranda, 21, told her family she was going to visit her friends. But when she didn’t return home for a long time, they became suspicious of the situation and organized a search operation with their neighbors. The search ended around 7 a.m. when one of those present found her dead body lying in the bushes. She was completely naked and had gunshot marks on her chest. It can’t be ruled out that she was raped.

At the moment, the police have no suspects. The girl’s tattoos indicate she was a gang member, based on the opinion of Internet commentators. The possibility that the death was related to gang activity cannot be ruled out.
