GUATEMALA The married couple – 42-year-old Elenica Martinez and 46-year-old Alberto Justo were at their 9-year-old son’s soccer match. They sat in the stands and watched the game. Suddenly, a man with a gun approached them and fired twice. Both died on the spot. Police tracked down the suspect, according to records. She was just a 14-year-old girl with ties to a local gang. Since the family was not involved in any criminal activities, it is quite possible that this act was just a coincidence for the girl to fulfill the rite of passage into the gang.
