BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA – MAY 17, 2026 In the district of Lomas de Zamora, at the station of the same name, a tragic collision of two people with a train occurred. The victims were a woman and a man who were a couple. According to witness statements, the tragedy happened when the woman fell onto the tracks. Some, however, claim she intended to step onto the tracks. The man then impulsively jumped after her to save her. Both died at the scene.
