ARACATACA, COLOMBIA – AUGUST 6, 2024 A serious accident occurred on August 6, 2024, on the road between the towns of Aracataca and Fundación in Colombia. A couple riding a motorcycle died in a head-on collision with a bus. The accident took place in the El Cucuyo area, where a black Auteco Boxer motorcycle crashed into a bus belonging to the Cootracosta company. Both individuals on the motorcycle, a man and a woman, were killed instantly, with their bodies thrown up to 200 meters from the crash site.

The victims were later identified as Ramón González and Raquel Reyes, residents of the town of El Retén and originally from Venezuela.
