NIGERIA 40-year-old Edéfé Effeurhobo went to confront a cow herder when he saw the cows eating his mother’s crops. Instead of a reasonable discussion, the herder reacted with excessive aggression, pulled out a sword, and attacked him. Edéfé suffered a deep cut to the face that fortunately narrowly missed his eye.
