TURKEY Man armed with a pistol began shooting at random people in front of a bar. He shot three of them, and unfortunately none survived. It is not yet clear whether this was the act of a mentally unstable individual or a terrorist attack.
Attacks on bars and nightlife venues are not everyday occurrences in Turkey, but they do happen from time to time. The most common reasons are disputes between business owners, fights between customers, or organized crime.
