The man suffered injuries during which he lost the skin on four fingers of his left hand. It is alleged that this happened while working with soldering cylinders in the factory. Doctors decided to use a method called “degloving”. This involves taking skin from another part of the patient’s body where it is less needed and transferring it to the injured part. Usually an unsightly scar is left where the skin is removed.
