CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, UNITED STATES – SEPTEMBER 15, 2026 Food delivery driver was attacked on the South Side. According to witnesses, he arrived at a house with an order and asked the customer for payment. The customer allegedly refused, after which a confrontation broke out between the two men.
The customer then allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the driver twice, hitting him in both legs. He then reportedly took the delivered food and returned to the house. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported the injured driver to a hospital.
