NOVA IGUAÇU, RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – MAY 6, 2026 In the rural area of Tinguá near the Brazilian city of Nova Iguaçu, a dismembered body of an unknown person was found near the São Bernardino farm. The discovery immediately prompted a response from security forces, who cordoned off the area and launched a forensic investigation.
The identity of the victim had not been confirmed at the time of the initial reports. The civil police began collecting evidence and reviewing surveillance footage from the surrounding area that could help clarify the movements of suspected individuals at the time of the crime.
