SCOTTBURGH BEACH, SCOTTBURGH, SOUTH AFRICA – AUGUST 31, 2019 Connie Hallowell was fishing with a spear about 20 metres from Scottburgh Beach. But his spear accidentally activated and shot his head through. He mustered the last of his strength to swim to shore. There, shocked witnesses immediately called an ambulance for him. Doctors rescued him, Connie survived.
