TACLOBAN CITY, PHILIPPINES – SEPTEMBER 21, 2017 Donnabelle Boco Larioque, 22, was stabbed to death by her jealous boyfriend Ronnel Maraginot, 23. He then attempted suicide by stabbing himself in the stomach but survived and ended up in hospital and subsequently in police custody.

According to police, the two were in a very complicated relationship on the verge of breaking up. Ronnel went to meet his girlfriend already with the intention of murdering her. He wasn’t acting on impulse.
