ANGELIM, PERNAMBUCO, BRAZIL – JANUARY 21, 2025 There was a double murder of an elderly couple in the Cohab neighbourhood. The victims have been identified as 67-year-old Arlindo Pereira de Amorim and 75-year-old Anita Gomes da Costa Souza.

According to witnesses to the incident, the elderly couple had just been mowing grass on their property when they were approached by two gunmen. They murdered both of them with a shotgun and fled the scene on a motorbike immediately after the attack.
The police are currently investigating the case. However, they have nothing yet to explain the motive for such a cold-blooded murder. Both the victims had completely clean criminal records and led an orderly life.
