Elderly man shoots teenager who tried to rob him

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA – JANUARY 27, 2025 78-year-old pensioner of Italian nationality shot and killed a teenager who tried to rob him of his car. The incident took place in Villa Madero in the La Matanza district.

The elderly man parked his Toyota Hilux on the street in front of the house. When he got out of the car, a white SUV pulled up alongside him and three robbers jumped out and tried to steal his car at gunpoint. His reaction was lightning fast, he pulled out his legally held .357 caliber Smith pistol and began shooting.

One of the shots struck the juvenile criminal, who fell dead on the spot. He was only 16 years old and a working gun was found on his body. The others managed to escape.

The case is being investigated by prosecutor Diego Rulli, who has not imposed measures on the man and has ordered a search for the remaining perpetrators. The incident was filmed by two security cameras. Aftermath video by random witnesses.
