75-year-old man was found dead in the backyard of his home after reportedly taking his own life using a homemade firearm. His body was discovered in a seated position, and he was still holding the weapon in his left hand.
Inside the house, investigators later found a note confirming that the man had intentionally ended his life. The autopsy also revealed characteristic signs of a gunshot fired from extremely close range – deposits of gunpowder soot were visible on the mucous membranes inside his mouth.
Further circumstances of the case, including the motive, are currently unknown.
