KADAYAM, TAMIL NADU, INDIA – APRIL 26, 2026 70-year-old Subbammal died after attempting to board a state-run bus near the village of Kadayam in Tenkasi district.
The woman, from the village of Mettur, was traveling to the city of Tirunelveli. According to local media reports, she had difficulty boarding due to her advanced age. The driver allegedly started moving the bus before she had safely boarded. Subbammal lost her balance, fell onto the road, and sustained fatal injuries.
