MANAUS, BRAZIL The body of 16-year-old Alice de Lima Vieira was found by her family members in a shallow grave on 4 December 2019. She had been missing since 9 November that year, 25 days.

Her family had known for a long time that Alice was dead. In fact, a video taken by traffickers after her execution went viral on the internet. It was on the basis of this video that the location of her grave in the forest of União da Vitória was located.
Alice is said to have been a drug trafficker with gangster connections. This business was probably fatal to her.
