Boko Haram operates mostly in Nigeria and surrounding countries. They have the goal, like ISIS, of creating an Islamic state ruled by Sharia law. They are responsible for thousands of deaths, kidnappings, attacks on civilian targets. Some factions of Boko Haram have sworn allegiance to ISIS.
