IBIRATAIA, BRAZIL – JUNE 11, 2016 Leliane Cardoso dos Santos, 36, was shot in the head by her boyfriend, nicknamed “Caesar”, during an argument. The incident took place on José Púglia Street in the Nova Ibirataia de Baixo neighbourhood.
Neighbours heard the shooting and immediately called the police. But Caesar fled the scene. The police were unable to arrest him.
