POTRERITO, JAMUNDÍ, COLOMBIA Corpse of a woman was found in a remote area of the village of Potrerito. She had her throat slit and her shirt rolled up so that her breasts were exposed. The victim was identified fairly quickly because she was well known among the local people. She was nicknamed “La Mona” and worked as a mototaxi driver. According to the locals, she was nice and had no problems with anyone. Her murder left everyone in shock and no one understood who could have done this to her. Police are also working with the possibility that it may have been a sexually motivated attack.
