MANIPUR, INDIA – JULY 23, 2023 The woman, identified as 55-year-old M. Lucy Maring, was executed with at least 20 shots from an automatic rifle. The assailants shot her until her head literally exploded. The reason for the execution was simple – the woman belonged to another tribe. Unfortunately, tribal wars still persist in northern India.
