MARILAQUE, PHILIPPINES – JANUARY 26, 2025 Filipino motovlogger John Louie Arguelles, known as the “Superman of Marilaque,” tragically lost his life in an accident on the Marilaque Highway in Rizal province. The incident occurred while he was attempting a risky stunt called the “Superman pose,” where the rider lies flat on the motorcycle, significantly reducing control over the bike. During the maneuver, his companion lost control, leading to a crash that involved a group of tourists sitting on a roadside barrier. Despite Arguelles’ attempt to regain a normal riding position, the limited space and sudden movements around him made it impossible to avoid the collision.
