NEW ALBANY, MISSISSIPPI, USA – AUGUST 31, 2020 Full version of one of the most famous gore videos ever to appear on the Internet – Ronnie McNutt’s suicide. 33-year-old Ronald Merle McNutt took a shotgun and shot his head off. He streamed everything live on social networks Facebook and TikTok.
Ronnie (born May 23, 1987) was an army veteran from Iraq and then an employee of Toyota concern. He was known to suffer from various mental health issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder, which he carried over from the Iraq war. He was also a Christian who attended church regularly.
The reason for the act he decided to do was supposed to be his dismissal from work and also the breakup with his girlfriend. The live broadcast was also noticed by Ronnie’s friend Joshua Steen, who tried to help him and called the police.
The video of Ronnie’s suicide went very viral across all platforms. Facebook and TikTok have taken a lot of criticism for not interrupting the stream. They defended themselves by saying that he did not violate their rules until the last moment. Also for allowing the stream recording to continue to spread. Their algorithms recommended the video further.
