SALVADOR, BAHIA, BRAZIL – APRIL 27, 2026 Man nicknamed “Jackson” was shot dead in the Fazenda Grande 3 area of the Cajazeiras district. According to local residents, armed men identified as “Bicho do Mar,” who allegedly came from the Vila Verde neighborhood, stormed into the area. They tracked down Jackson and shot him several times. The man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Military police and forensic technicians arrived at the scene, secured the area, and examined the crime scene. The body was subsequently taken to the forensic medical institute. The identities of the perpetrators and the motive for the murder were not confirmed in the original report. The case was taken over by the Civil Police of the state of Bahia.
