RONDONÓPOLIS, MATO GROSSO, BRAZIL – MARCH 20, 2025 27-year-old Yasmin Farias Cardoso experienced an unpleasant visit in her studio apartment in the Jardim Belo Panorama area. Her ex-partner, 35-year-old José Cícero Feitosa da Silva, showed up. Because she had traumatic experiences with him from their previous relationship involving domestic violence and drunkenness, and he had a restraining order against him, she locked herself in her room and pressed the SOS button intended for domestic violence victims.

Unfortunately, José successfully got inside and stabbed Yasmin to death. He then recorded a farewell video where he says he loves her and cannot live without her. In the background of the video, the last minutes of her life can be seen.
When the police arrived at the scene, they found neither of them alive. Yasmin succumbed to her injuries, and José committed suicide by hanging.
