NARSINGHPUR, MADHYA PRADESH, INDIA – JUNE 27, 2025 18-year-old nursing student, Sandhya Choudhary, was brutally attacked during her internship at the district hospital in Narsinghpur by her boyfriend. He attacked her while she was carrying injections and a bottle of saline solution to save a patient’s life. With a sharp object, he deeply slit her throat. She collapsed to the floor in a pool of blood, and despite that, he continued cutting her neck. Although she received immediate medical help, she died.

The killer was identified as Abhishek Koshti, the victim’s boyfriend. After committing the murder, he voluntarily surrendered to the police. The motive was reportedly jealousy. Koshti found out that Sandhya was having an affair with another man.
