CHINA Forensic team was dispatched to the scene where the body of a young woman was found. She was lying in a pool of blood on the street and had several visibly knocked-out teeth. At first, it was believed that she had committed suicide by jumping from a height. However, this possibility was ruled out when, upon closer examination, investigators found stab wounds and cuts on her arms that are typical of victims attacked with a knife, caused by their active attempts to defend themselves. The investigators carried out standard procedures at the scene, such as an initial examination and photographic documentation of the body and its surroundings. The victim was subsequently transported to a medical institute for a forensic autopsy, but its results are not known.
