NOVO PROGRESSO, BRAZIL – JULY 6, 2022 The woman worked in a pizza restaurant that was open until 1am. She was returning home from work on her motorcycle around 2:00. On the way, she was met by a man in a car who found her an easy target on a deserted road. He hit her with his car and the woman fell off the motorcycle. The man got out of the car, beat her some more and raped her.

The victim was left lying on the road in an unconscious state. But soon the driver of a passing car noticed her. He gave her first aid and called the ambulance service. While waiting for the ambulance, he put her on the back seat of his car even though she had blood on the interior.
