JÄRNA, ÖVERJÄRNA, SWEDEN – OCTOBER 11, 2010 Marcus Yanes was a 21-year-old Swedish man who decided to commit suicide in public and hanged himself during a Facebook live stream.
The main motive was apparently his health condition and related indisposition. He has suffered from ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome since he was young. When he started treating it with medication in 2004, he developed side effects. He had obsessive compulsive disorder and suffered from frequent anxiety.
Before he hanged himself, he took 100 mg of dexophene and 1500 mg of acetaminophen. They are both painkillers and the dosage is not beyond dangerous for an adult. He probably did it to make him suffer less.
Viewers of his stream tried to contact the police. But it was futile. His whereabouts were discovered too late. The police arrived at the scene only when he was 40-50 minutes dead.
