CORUMBÁ, MATO GROSSO DO SUL, BRAZIL – AUGUST 13, 2025 Security camera in the city center recorded the murder of a man at a bus stop. The footage shows him sitting on a bench as a masked attacker approaches, shoots him multiple times, and then leaves the scene on a motorcycle.
The victim was identified as 53-year-old João Farias da Silva. He was shot twice in the head and was declared dead upon the arrival of emergency services.
Police secured the area and called in forensic specialists to collect any evidence the perpetrator might have left behind. Authorities are also reviewing security footage and witness statements, aiming to identify and apprehend the suspect and determine the motive for the murder.
