JAMSHDEPUR, JHARKHAND, INDIA – MAY 4, 2025 Tragic accident occurred in which 55-year-old cement trader Sunil Agarwal burned to death. His car caught fire early in the morning after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder exploded inside the vehicle. Due to the intense flames, witnesses were unable to rescue the driver, and the fire was extinguished only after firefighters arrived.
According to the preliminary findings of the investigation, the LPG cylinder was placed on the front passenger seat. Police believe that gas leaked from the cylinder and may have been ignited by a lit cigarette. This theory is also supported by cigarette remains found at the scene of the accident.
