Man falls from wooden pole during festival contest

ANZHERO-SUDZHENSK, KEMEROVO OBLAST, RUSSIA, 2018 During the Maslenitsa celebrations, a serious accident occurred. A man named Alexei took part in a competition in which he had to climb a tall wooden pole and retrieve a prize placed at the top. However, after reaching the top, he slipped and fell to the ground. He suffered several serious fractures, but thanks to the quick assistance of rescuers, he was taken to a hospital and survived the fall.
