XI’AN, SHAANXI, CHINA – JANUARY 14, 2026 Man jumped from a seventh-floor window of a hospital in the Lintong district. He unfortunately did not survive the fall. The incident was recorded on video by a shocked witness.
As it was later revealed, the man was a patient at the hospital who had just been presented with his medical bill. However, the amount was so high that he was unable to pay it. It is unclear whether this was a suicide attempt or a failed attempt to escape.
