When he found out that she had soon started dating a younger lover, only 24 years old, jealousy clouded his mind and he devised a murderous plan. He went to visit her and brought his 12 mm Benelli hunting rifle. He caught them both lying next to each other in bed and shot them both. Then he turned the weapon on himself.
