ORENBURG OBLAST, RUSSIA, 2022 Heavily intoxicated elderly man put on an unforgettable show for the paramedics. When they arrived on the scene, he was stabbing himself furiously in the stomach in front of them. They tried to stop him with a chair, but failed. All they could do was watch, for fear of their own health. When they shout at him to put the knife down, he asks ironically, “Why should I do that?” When the man fell unconscious to the ground, only then could they attempt to save him. But all efforts were in vain, he died of too much blood loss.
