RUDRAPUR, UTTARAKHAND, INDIA Man climbed a tree intending to remove protruding branches that were reaching the electric wires. However, he did not realize that the tree itself could conduct electricity. Before he reached the desired spot, he received a fatal electric shock and remained hanging in the branches. He was rescued by passing bystanders, but unfortunately, he was already dead by that time.
Human body has lower resistance than wood, so electricity in almost all cases prefers to pass through it. In such situations, it is always advisable to call firefighters, an electrical company, or other professionals in the field.
