GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR – SEPTEMBER 28, 2021 A prison riot at the Litoral de Guayaquil prison leaves 116 dead and 80 injured. The uprising was caused by two rival criminal factions. It all started when the prison authorities decided to transfer the two leaders of these organisations to other prisons. The video shows a short clip of the riot.
