MANAUS, BRAZIL – 2019 25-year-old Farliana Nunes Pinto was found beheaded and buried in a wooded area near Campo da Maroca. It was found that she had been tortured for hours by cutting and stabbing her body before she was murdered. According to Brazilian police, the girl was killed by members of a rival gang.
